Taking care of our neighbors makes for a stronger community. Looking out for one another ensures a safer and happier neighborhood. When we all do a little, we can do so much!
We are a community-based organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, exciting community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers. The Gothenburg Senior Center Inc is funded in part by the West Central Nebraska Area Agency on Aging, under the authority of the Older Americans Act and the generous contributions of those who support the programs. The Gothenburg Senior Center is a Non-Profit organization responsible for providing referral information, services and recreation to individuals sixty years of age and older. Nutritious noon meals are served Monday - Friday at a suggested donation rate of $6.00 for persons over sixty. Persons under the age of sixty are welcome and are charged a set price of $8.00 per person. Please call 308-537-7465 for reservations before 9:30am
